TC-32 from MCC: Acquisition system for temperature measurement (thermocouple), 32 channels with Ethernet and USB interface – Expandable to 64 channels
TC-32 from Measurement Computing (MCC) is an acquisition system with 32 differential inputs, 24-Bit, for temperature measurement (Thermocouple). Coupled with the TC-32-EXP extension, the TC-32 will be able to acquire up to 64 Thermocouple channels. The maximum sample rate is 3 S/s per channel. Each channel is individually configurable by software and supports thermocouples types J, K, R, S, T, N, E and B. The thermocouples connect directly to the TC32 via mini-jack connectors.
Each Thermocouple input has its own CJC, which guarantees high temperature measurement accuracy. All TC32 Thermocouple inputs also have open thermocouple detection (OTD). The TC-32-EXP extension has the same characteristics as the TC-32 in terms of the type of Thermocouples, CJCs and OTDs.
The TC-32 has 8 digital inputs and 32 digital outputs electrically isolated from the PC and analog circuits. It is also possible to configure the digital outputs as an alarm for each TC input. When an alarm is activated, the output line associated with the alarm is configured to the appropriate state determined by the alarm options and the inlet temperature. Alarm configurations are stored in non-volatile memory and loaded when the TC-32 is powered up. When a temperature exceeds a temperature threshold, an alarm can be triggered. This output can be connected to another device, such as a physical alarm or a control system. Each digital output can provide up to 100mA.
Digital I/O signals and alarms are accessible through TC-32 and TC-32-EXP.
